Traveling Action Man is now on his way to PBFresh in New York!

This was a fun project, and obviously it got me out of the house for a bit! I'm looking forward to seeing the other areas through which this MAM travels!

fantastic reports and some AMAZING scenery - I felt i was in the middle of a Western some times . Looks v hot and v arid - AM will move on to NY and be altitude trained to boot

Thanks for all the time and effort - I'm sure his time with SCU HQ will be a lasting memory for AM!

I didn't get in to it because I felt this segment was getting too long already, but they filmed a lot of western movies in this area, especially between the 1930s and the 1970s, including some John Wayne films, some Clint Eastwood films, and even Sergeants Three starring Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., and the rest of the "Rat Pack." I was hoping to take Traveling MAM to visit some remains of old movie sets, but it was time to send him on to see other places. I'm glad you thought some of this was fun, thanks!

Plans to go to Niagra Falls fell through. I ddon't n't have the right kind of ID to get to not Canada and the View from the US side is not worth the drive.
We did have time for some adventures today!

PBFresh what a fabulous start of my Mam being at your HQ for two weeks. Really looking forward to seeing more of the pictures.

well, he certainly has been kept busy by fresh HQ! lots to see, and even more to see and explore outside!, I think Action Man might be of some help while he is there, as long as he stays away from Squiddy's ale! Looking forward too seeing more

Exciting start to MAM's New York adventures! He seems so expressive in these action-packed photos!

I'm sure he's finding all the trees and greenery to be a welcome change to the arid southwest climate he left behind.

Okay... that hybrid jeep/mobile HQ vehicle is looking fantastic! I hope to see a lot more pictures from that project as it proceeds!

In the meantime... look out, New York! Action Man has arrived! Can't wait to see what else he finds to explore!

Years ago we went to Canada every year with no more than our Driver's license. Do you need a Passport now?

You can use an "enhanced" I'd to get in. My liscence was good until this year and I haven't needed one until now. I will be getting an enhanced when I renew, but I need to send to Florida for my birth certificate.

I should have more pics up tomorrow. The guys toasted marshmallows last night and things got out of hand. Good thing I was there with the camera, just need to add the captions!

I got the Jeep and the Mobile Support back half plus a bunch of scrap from eBay for $25 shipped. Nothing restorable so I threw the two together. It's very loosely based on the " Rover" from the TV show The 100, but less cheese ( like the non-firing M134 ).
As with all my WIPs, it moves slowly!

I had never heard of the enhanced ID, but when I went in to renew my license they told me about it, so I went
home gathered the documents needed, went back and renewed my license and got the gold star...

Hello everyone,
Sorry for the lack of pictures during Action Man's stay, but I am having health problems again. I Do have some shots that I need to caption so can post, but need to know when gets AM next. My wife has agreed to bring him to the Post Office for me while I am out of commission.
Again, I apologize for my poor showing, just can't seem to breath in this air lately.

I am sure Al will be in touch mate for his next destintion. Looking forward too seeing the pics, get well soon!
