Chips old Boys

It’s really nice to meet Vintage A.M Commander " Chip ". I’m really impressed how you have presented him with in each picture Chip. Yes it may have taken you forever to get some figures and pics together but you’ve managed it now so I’m very pleased for you.

S.A.S Assemble .

There were two boxed versions of this figure and most likely a carded set along with carded accessories . One version was very basic and only came with basic kit , no Browning pistol , belt or grapple hook . My figures refuse to go out without a side arm .    The various versions also had two types of Flak vest . As you can see , one has some detail to it , in the way of pockets ect , the other is smooth and better made . The tabs on the detailed vest are easily ripped , and good examples are probably that much harder to pick up . Of note also , there are both Black and Blue versions of the H.K Machine gun , I am thinking that the Blue versions came on the accessory cards , it`s very hard to tell them apart as they are a very dark Blue . The two figures out front show the different H.Ks , the one on the right is holding the Black version , and the guy on the left has the Blue ....obviously .   Considering they were toys , the outfits are very accurate renditions of the SAS that stormed the Iranian Embassy back in 1980 .

Polar Explorer . One of My favourite A.M uniforms .

Very smart Chip! It's hard to beat a good snow trooper, yours looking minty!

Your Polar Explorer is all kitted out and already to explore both the North and South Pole . Very well photographed once again my friend. Why is it one of My favourite A.M uniforms Chip ?

I liked most of the explorer and rescue uniforms , they are so colourful and normally have some good accessories .

Waaaaaaw Chip   This Artic adventurer looking like he's fresh out of the box from only just been purchased. He's a very good looking figure, I'm always Waaaaaawed out after viewing just one or more of your figures and vehicle's ,As you have a great attention to detail.keep up the great work Chip it is Always a joy to view with a guaranteed Waaaaaaw
