If you had said to me 10 years ago , one day there will be Barbie`s in your collection , well I would like of laughed and said yeah right . But I have used the super articulated Barbie body on one of my Vietcong Figures . And recently I came across this rather authentic looking Barbie Astronaut . I not changed anything , even the sculpt is good to my eyes , I just added a space pack . I think she will fit in with the Astronaut team / s I am building slowly . Hope you like her too .

Nice find! I too would have laughed if someone had asked if I ever planned to have a Barbie in my collection, but with the release of the movie, I decided to get one on the suspicion that it would open up whole new avenues of absurdist comedy, and I was correct.

I just asked about her on another thread, before I saw this one. I have only one Barbie, the jointed motorcycle rider. She's buried somewhere in the back room.
I didn't know about this Barbie, but I like that she doesn't have the toothy, wide smile. I don't care for those head sculpts.
The backpack reminds me of the Lanard Ultra Corps type of kit. But I don't know that they are still made, the one you have is marked 2022?
Omg that’s that’s a Barbie Astronaut and I totally agree with you on that the astronaut outfit is very authentic looking indeed. I’m really impressed with her head sculpt. I’ll be keeping my eye out in the future for your Astronaut team which you are slowly building together.
