1/6th Messerschmitt BF 109E-3 build

I've seen some of those R/C videos and they are amazing!!!

Imagine a flying 1/6th B-29 Super fortress! Recently saw a great vid of a Huey helicopter and a while back saw a guy crash his B-1 bomber -- ouch!

A fellow at the Sixth Division recently built a couple planes and the level of detail he applied is professional caliber modeling.

Great stuff.

It's got to be a tall order to actually build one that flies, then you have to learn how to fly it. Personally, I like static models.

Cheers Bri I will have a look for the  Huey I heard that RC hueys were used in Apocalypse now in some of the scenes, I'm sure that they are used often in films, I'm going to stick with static for now it's a total different ball game getting them in the air plus I've also seen some of the crashes

Well had the Messerschmitt out today for it's Maiden filght well sort of



Here she is Fritz has done an excellent job of gettin her back in the sky he'll be up for a Medal for all his hard work and dedication

Thanks Bri I must admit I had some help from my son James to sort this out as well as the continuing assistance from Fritz we had a few hairy moments as the first attempt at hanging the old girl the fishing line snapped but luckily I was still underneeth and caught her after that it was doubled up fishing line

Thanks Dal we were lucky enough to get some good weather for this photo shoot, but we still got a shower of rain in the middle of it all as you can see if you look at the photo with Fritz and the officer the plane got a few spots of rain, but soon dried out as it was only a short shower

Thanks Gary I was Jiggered when we finished the shoot it's amazing how much it takes out of you when your doing something so intense one mistake and she could crash to the ground as well as watching out for the next freak of nature to unfold

Well done Fritz great work ! You definitely deserve a medal, lovely bit of the ol photography there Hawkeye ,you must have Hawkeyes to see that bird rushing at treetop level, fantastic pictures mate !

Try offering to take her out for an easter picnic or get the garden table sorted out and hopefully the weather won't be a washout
