Just bought these

Apparently I haven't been here long enough to post links... ...no matter, just wanted to say that I just bought a Master Piece lot off of eBay that has the Marine, Pilot, Soldier, Sailor and Astronaut figures,with the boxes,books,etc...They were $215 shipped...maybe a bit much but I don't really care...I can afford it, I wanted them so I bought them...

Thanks! As soon as these guys showed up I got this whole photoshoot idea in my head...Funny, I wasn't planning on anything when I bought them ...Anyway, I hope it turns out as good as what's in my head! Hmmm, maybe you guys should be drunk when you finally see the story ...

Staying in their boxes? I bought three of the Masterpiece figures because they are currently so inexpensive on eBay. I ended up throwing away the boxes because they take up too much space. I would not have done this if the figures were uncommon or valuable, but currently they are, as the old guys used to say, common as dirt and twice as cheap.

eBay is currently full of "Star Wars" stuff "still in the box" that people bought and hung into in the hopes of cashing in big.
Trouble is (with the rare exception of something nobody ever bought) most of the stuff now sells for less than it was to buy new!
That, ...and the fact they have missed out on the sheer joy of actually playing with the item. (Regardless of your age!)
