if you ever want to make a blood splatter effect take a sandwich baggie and some red acrylic paint and rub on the baggie into the desired look make it a little thick add tiny bits of sea sponge for some splattered brain look let it dry on the baggie peel it off and you got blood splatter peel and stick no staining the figure or clothes

This is an amazing idea Johnny! I'm going to have to try this! I would have never thought of little bits of sponge but that would work so well for brain and bits of viscera.
I must admit, I'm imagining something absolutely awful for a zombie apocalypse type diorama. That would be so not PG but would make great use of this technique.
Thanks for thr tip!

The zombie Santa guy is a classic! That open mouth begging to be shot!
Great tip for splatter too JohnnyE4.

The mall Santa is a weird one. He totally has more of a "Rage Infected" look than rotting zombie.

Thanks Dal! There are a few more. The Butcher and Priest, both still tied in their boxes and the Business Man. I really regret not buying the Punk Rocker.

After seeing this I wish I hadn't been so quick to toss the HOF bodies that I replaced!
They would make great figures to "hack up" as zombies in a photo story.
But, I have a few more...

Wow Sarah! This is great...and funny. I like zombie fiction and have been wanting to add either zombie or mutant (or both) types of figure to my collection, though the selection of zombie head sculpts on the market is not that great. You keep amazing me with your creations.

Nice work Prof Gangrene Fan! I especially like that really pale zombie in the second link. He reminds me of the 1978 Dawn of the Dead, which I'd say is one of the zombie films I find the most eerie.
Daryl, I think it would be awesome to maybe get a group kitbash going for zombies and zombie survivors.
Thanks Colin! I have noticed that the company that is doing the new Resident Evil 3 game Jill is doing a new Alice from Extinction. It looks so good.
Thanks Kimono Troop Command! You should definitely try to get some zombies and mutants for your figure verse! It's set after a nuclear war right? I have another zombie doll from like 2007/2008. I cannot recall who made him though!
Thanks inntruderr61!

Yeah, I just had the idea earlier to try to model some mutants based on the ones in the original (1970's) version of "Battle For The Planet of The Apes.)

It's funny you mention that, I got this guy in my teens when I wanted a zombie for my Cy Girl and Barbies (Jill and Claire) to fight. But I never had the nerve to gore him up. Looking back I'm glad I kept him.

Yeah, that looks like the mutants in "Beneath the Planet of the Apes," the 2nd film, and represents what the mutants in "Battle for the Planet of The Apes" turn into after many centuries.
The other mutants associated with Charleton Heston films I like are the ones in "The Omega Man," and my Dr. Laura Neville character is inspired but Heston's character Dr. Robert Neville. Unlike Robert, she is an Ph.D in aerospace engineering, not an immunologist, but before coming to Kimono Station, she battled mutants and zombies in the ruins of Pasadena. She is the Kimono Troop resident expert on mutants and zombies.

Nice! I like this! I think out of my figures the only ones who have this kind of experience, is Yalena, Dmitri, Anton. They spent time in the Chernobyl Zone.. (S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Universe)

My universe evolved over time and started off not as a 1/6 scale universe but as a DAZ 3D created universe, though when I went over to 1/6th scale, it became pretty obvious very quickly that I would eventually have to model my favorite DAZ character (Kamiko) as well. Initially, I was sort of vague about the cataclysm that made a mess of things. and simply referred to it as "The Great Anarchy" as most of the stories took place afterwards in a changed world. In my original universe, most of the world's male population had perished through war and plague an women were now 90% of the world population. I walked that back someone when I got to 1/6th scale and more when I started integrating my universe with Dal 's and Dave's. Much of the US is still a Mad-Maxian mess following a limited nuclear war and a 2nd US Civil War prompted by a fallen president who refused to leave office and his fanatic supporters (Yeah, I predicted that a long time ago, actually), while the Russians and Chinese got the worst of the nuclear exchange. China also launched a failed invasion of Japan, in which Kamiko and her friends Miyori and Gogo got their initial combat experience and in the aftermath of which, Kamiko became an operative for JSDF intelligence, despite her American birth.
I went further in the 1/6th scale, in deciding that the English-speaking countries of the world, including the United States have formed a new political union known as the British League, by which all the countries remain independent and have their own parliamentary governments but accept the British Monarch as the official head of state. Americans still refuse to accept metric or drink warm beer however...or drive on the left side of the road.

That is an awesome back story! The part about the President is funny, I always worry that bringing up politics might trigger someone. I mean, I try to see the comedy in it. But some folks are so touchy. Since coming back to the hobby I try to remain fairly apolitical.
That said, when I get around to my comic, I want to touch on things are relevant in our society today, just like I would if I made a TV show rather than a doll comic.
Still I love the whole crossover thing you guys are doing!

I stay away from politics here also, and we're supposed to, though I suppose you can push the boundary gently if it's satirical in nature. I'm not out to offend anyone ad the "no politics" rule makes sense as does the "no nudity" rule. There was a fair amount of that in my DAZ 3D stories, but I'm not interested in turning this place into a doll porn site any more than I am in getting into political arguments with folks, some of whom are bound to have different views than my own. Rather, I'm here to have fun without offending anyone. The main strength of my stories is in any case, their comedic aspect. Even the ones that are part of Dal's comic have a strong humorous element to them. It's just that this is what I write best. Erika von Strhoheim for instance, was initially supposed to be a more tragic figure; a modern day Bundeswehr officer who'd been discharged from the German Army after suffering a traumatic brain injury in Afghanistan that wiped out big chunks of her memory, which she replaces with her great grandfather's war-time memories drawn from his memoirs of serving with Rommel in North Africa.
I retained all that, but rather than making her a serious character, I realized it would be much better if she would be a comedic character like Colonel Klink from Hogan's Heroes or Franz Liebkind and Lorenzo St-DuBois (LSD) from "The Producers," and Siegried from the TV series "Get Smart."

Here are a few other Sideshow figures I got for pretty cheap years ago, I eventually want to pull them all down and take the ones out who have been taken out before to post and display.
