| I recently watched Steven Speilberg's Tintin movie and was inspired by the scenes in the French Foreign Legion fort to create this kitbash of a French Foreign Legionnaire circa 1940s...  The 'bash consists of all Hasbro/Palitoy pieces...  Boots are from the Action Pilot basic figure. I removed the rear flap/neck covering from the existing Palitoy kepi covering to create this later style kepi cover...  Other pieces from the Soldiers of the World Foreign Legion set were used including the webbing, bayonet, scabbard, sash and kepi...  Shirt and trousers are from the Action Man Internationals United Nations Peace Keeper set...  Mon Legionnaire. A nice addition to my expanding collection of French GI Joe and Action Man figures. And if luck is with me tonight it will expand by one very significant addition later tonight! | |
