Do you have pilot figures in flight gear in your collection? If so, show us your photos. Identify the pilot, rank, organization, real of fictional and tell us what kind of aircraft (real or fictional) this pilot flies. Maybe piston engine, jets, helicopters, any era....and yes...I know I'm gonna hate myself, but Star Wars pilots are okay also as long as they are in flight gear, or something resembling it....
Flying Officer Dr. Laura Neville, P.Eng. Kimono Troop aerial detachment, fighter pilot. Aircraft is a Curtiss P40 with a Packard-built Rolls-Royce Merlin engine.
P.S. It's super cool if you can combine a photo of your pilot(s) with their aircraft, but not necessary. If all you can do is show us the figure, that's okay.

There is incidentally no limit to how many different aviators / aviatrixes any member can post. If you have many pilots, by all means, feel free to post them all.
Not what I expected, but then surprises can be cool. I also forgot to include dirigibles in my list of acceptable aircraft, and hell...if you you allow Star Wars , you have to allow Steampunk.
I thought I'd commented on the airship pic. Perhaps I was left speechless by the awesomeness of Sir Perceval P. Fortescu and his astonishing invention!
Yes, unexpected, but within the parameters! I'm calling Scully and Mulder.

Perhaps your original call went a little further out than you might have imagined.....?
I was only recently considering the purchase of Mulder & Scully, but even the lesser Ken & Barbie versions now go for fairly serious prices. The Flying Saucer itself , (of which I have constructed several different versions) is made up from vintage hub-caps. Those oldies virtually cry out to be re-purposed as such!

To be fully truthful, I was rather expecting a lot of vintage Joe's / Action Man figures in orange flight suits, and that would have been and still is perfectly acceptable, however the responses so far, though few have been more creative than I had imagined they would be.
Which brings me to the question of just where exactly are all those vintage Joe's and AM's with their international orange flight suits and fighter pilots helmets hiding?
Because the caps are made for male figures , Laura's is naturally on the large side, which only adds to the already established goofiness of this character.
And introducing a new character to my universe, Flight-Lieutenant (ret) Montague Wintergreen,
Nice work indeed! But now I'm wondering if the name of your new bloke could intentionally on your part be shortened to "Mondergreen"? He's a great figure!

I think he'd rather be called "Monty."

KTC asked the question about the vintage orange flight suits.
This is for you KTC:
This, unfortunately, is not vintage but a 40th anniversary Joe I got in a figure lot. I don't have a vintage one.
Next is a GI Jane helicopter pilot with a Power Team helicopter.
Last, is a Cobra Helicopter Attack set. It was made for the Hall of Fame figures, but I put it on a Classic Collection Joe. The pack is similar to the Adventure Team and VAM helicopter packs, there is a button on the back that you work to make the blades turn. But this set has soft rubber blades, which is why they are soft enough to not hold a rigid shape. The Classic Collection Joe has a smaller head than the Hall of Fame, so the helmet is too big. I need to put a HOF head on the body so it will fit better. I was planning on also getting a photo of the back of the pack to show the button, but the weight of the pack kept causing him to fall over. I was barely able to get this photo.
My figures are not as unconventional as others that have been posted.
I just hope you guys don't judge me too harshly. As far as flyboys/flygirls mine are a bit boring from what everyone else has posted. But I thought I would show what I have.
You call a guy with a helicopter backpack carrying a portable rocket launcher “boring?” You must lead a much more exciting life than I do, that’s for sure!
