That’s a lot of different shades of brown within this kitbash and it really really suits him and it works for me. I’m loving the pipe and leather eyepatch.

Thanks fellas
To be honest they kind of posed themselves. I was moving them out of the way so I could cut a hole in the wall for a window and they just looked like I should take a picture.

I spent nearly 3 hours today swapping trousers, tops, boots, hats and whole uniforms. And this was the result.... I don't think that I actually achieved anything
I'm fairly happy with the figure far left and the figure far right, but that's about it.
The one in all black with the shoulder holster is my one remaining childhood AM. I want something special for him. The uniform that he is in now ain't it I think I will put him in the uniform below. It's how I got him 50 years ago.

I understand wanting to restore your childhood figure to his original appearance, and that makes a lot of sense. Plus, it was an outstanding stock outfit, one of the best!
That said... it's hard to top the Secret Mission to Spy Island look! That's always been one of my very favorite Joe/AM sets. Yeah, just basic black with a roll-neck jumper, but... it looks so cool! Suave, debonaire, and dangerous -- everything a lot of us hoped to be when we grew up!
About the only way to improve upon what you have here is to find an original-style sub-machine gun for him.

Just had a Google. It's got a grease gun. I've got several of those. I'm wondering if it was called something different over here. As I definitely had that set as a kid, but I don't remember it being called that.

I believe the Action Man version of the set was called "Sabotage."

Yup that's the one I had. I think I have acquired most if not all of the bits. I will have a look when I get a minute.

Just a little info, if it helps. This is from wikipedia.
That weapon was developed in the US during WWII, with a designation of the M3. They wanted something that was less expensive and easier to make than the Thompson. They patterned it after the German MP 40 and the British Sten Gun. It entered frontline service in mid-1944.
It was called the "grease" gun in that it looked a lot like the tool mechanics use to inject grease into joints on a car.
I know, useless trivia. Just wanted to say why it's called a grease gun.

Cool! It looks like the same one I use in pics also. Forced perspective is the key mate. Great shot!

I think it's about an inch or two too big, but I will try the forced perspective trick.

Is yours a defunct remote control one too ? Did you remove the workings or leave them in ?
