The belt set up looks great . I am not sure he needs that shoulder holster , but a long range Rifle would look a treat I recon . He is a great looking character .

Yeah I get what you're saying. The shoulder holster with the belt set up seems....too much maybe. I might try swapping the two bags position to see if that makes a difference....but I agree something isn't right.

Hi Chris , This guy looks really cool... The black boots look good enough though. Brown Vam Africa korps boots would match the brown shoulder holster and the brown belt with sporran to the side. I wouldn't worry to much about a sporran , As the Sporran we see today worn at the front of the kilt, is a modern thing. Originally it was worn to the side of the kilt. As someone who has worn the kilt too many times that I can't remember. Black boots work well As do brown. And I even wore Nike trainers in my younger days. And still would today , should an occasion arise. And off course bare feet when abroad on a beach. I'll speak to you soon Chris. Very kind regards , Allan
Thanks Allan. I'm still tweaking his look, but I think I'm basically happy with it. I have black walking boots on a slow boat from China. So he will get those when they arrive. I think I'm going to move the bags around and see if they look any better. I too have worn the kilt on several occasions. Through my mum's side of the family I wear the Clark tartan. I keep meaning to get one made rather than hire one every time...maybe one day.

He does look better. Interesting how switching pouches can do that? Maybe it's a more "balanced" look?

Great shot Chris of the crew preparing for their next adventure. What I really like here is the way the study is coming together, It's fantastic to stop and look around at all the smaller items that are beginning to fill the shelves and desk, Rofus' laptop for example which is just popping into view, the desk lamp on his desk, and all all the small items that are slowing popping up. The pictures and the sword on the sofa wall really brings that wall into focus Brilliant work mate. Love it .

What a splendid pair of characters, reminiscent of the old Bovey Boys crafted by... I don't remember his name, he was a once-active member here who had largely fallen silent before I joined.

You're thinking of Stephen, Dave, reddog1. His characters were some of the best imo ever made .

The bowler and pipe gives the one guy a distinguished look, a distinguished scholar in the wilds of the old west.

Finally finished...ish I'm still thinking of different boots, but I managed to adapt the shoulder holster which was too small to fit an action man when it arrived.
