Star Trek Mego

Hi folks

Brandon posted recently about a WW2 line of Mego figures. I've often seen them pop up on e-bay ( Lone Ranger etc ) but never had one.

Brandon's post prompted me to pop down to B&M ( a discount ? retailer in the UK) . I'll often pop in when visiting town as you never know ewhat 1/6th items or material might pop up.

So here is Luc Pickard - £8.99 down from £12.99





They also had Kirk, Spock and a Romulan. I went for Luc as he looks a bit like me - bald !

Here he is out of the box .


His uniform is well made of a stretchy lycra .


He comes with a small belt and a communicator?



Here he is as a basic figure. note the moulded boot.


Head sculpt. Not bad but not a brilliant likeness of Patrick Stewart imho.

Classic crawl to sharp shooter . Lack of articulation at the head limits this .





So all in all not a bad little figure and I guess if you are a Star Trek fan a nice little line to collect.

I love the Mego Star Trek figures. I've bought almost all of the figures released so far.

Picard's accessory is a phaser by the way, not a communicator.

Very nice Gunner! I didn't know that Mego was still making 8" figures.
At least not here anyway. I've seen repros of the old figures, I had a
few Star Trek (TOS) figures when I was a kid.

He looks to have the same articulation as the ones I remember.

Just remembered I had a Mego myself, ...well only a modern one.
It's the alien bloke from "Twilight Zone".
