Mountain Rescue Helicopter crash search and rescue.

The Action Man mountain rescue team have been called out to search for a missing experimental one man helicopter.





One team member spots some wreckage at the bottom of a cliff face.


At a closer inspection parts of the rotter can be seen on the cliff face and wreckage and pilot on the ground below.





The team quickly head to the scene of the crash. While the medic accesses the pilot.




The pilot is alive! A helicopter evacuation is organised. He needs to be packaged in a stretcher for the arrival.


Pictures where taken by Ivan and set up’s both done by Ivan and dad.

Great set up and story, it must've taken quite a while to do and set up, but well worth all the time effort .

Dad and Ivan are in the Scottish mountain rescue so these pictures will hopefully be placed on their website and publication in their magazine for the kids of mountain rescue volunteers. Poor dad toiled up that mountain with all that lot on his back in a big rucksack. They where looking for a good location that was realistically scalable for the scene. Ivan made up some rotter blades that looked realistic in a crash. Ivan, dad and myself all agreed that it was all worth it in the end.
