Excellent outdoor pictures! The helmet looks better on his head than the beret, imho.

Mine arrived yesterday
Just freed him from the box (very secure well packed).
Very happy with him, light years better than the T-rex failures. The jumper is superb, I don’t like the Velcro fly on the trousers and If I’m honest I think the hair colour is to soft/light. The hands are a bit hard but look good, will leave them as is. But I am being picky
I thinking what if I give him the SBHQ flock experience?

Mine hasent got a belt , I I’ve seen a couple of others …none have belts , so don’t worry Your figure looks great ..they are nice …. I think out of all the new figures he’s probably my favourite….maybe because he reminds me of original action man …and your right his jumper is great….

Looks a very nice figure, Brian. The best of the lot I think. Like you, I've been toying with the idea of flocking one of these heads, as I've a few of the loose T-rex versions from Ali Express. I think they'd look really good with a flock.

My fella arrived today.
His hat falls off every time I even look at it. I managed to break the sight for the rifle getting it out of the packaging....its currently glueing
The uni is ok. As is all the equipment . As others have said the backpack is a solid lump, but I never put anything in them anyway so I'm ok with that.
The articulation seems very good..and he stands on a hard surface easily.
The hands are rock hard, but I have a spare pair of grippers so i might have a go at fitting them.
All in all I'm pretty impressed with him. The plan is to buy one per month until I have the set.
Hopefully if these are a success they will expand the range..maybe new uniforms and equipment.

Swapped the concrete hands for some lovely grippers. He can actually hold his rifle now

I’m really liking his uniform that he’s wearing. I was looking at his hat and it fall off with me lol. That’s a pity that the sight for the rifle broke getting it out of the packaging but at least good old fashioned glue will fix it. That’s action-tastic news that the AM hobby is slowly returning to you and this fell has definitely helped you . I'm also hoping to have the time to get him out n about in the woods for a few pics on Thursday. Crossing my fingers for you Cool Chris.

Great to see you posting RT ! Did you have to drill out the forearms for the vintage style hands to fit ?

Cheers Chip.
Yeah I had to drill out the forearms. The original hands pull out very easily...no hot water or pliers necessary.

I’m not sure if they’re modifying the power team body at all for the new release, but here’s a group or airborne figures that how Power Team scales compared to a vintage action man and Cotswold figures. From left to right; Cotswold 101st airborne, power team glider pilot, and VAM para:

That`s a substantial height difference from the Power team Dude Nate . I am quite surprised . Thanks for the comparison pic .

Here’s another Power Team figure standing next to another Cotswold figure. Definitely taller than older style 1/6 figures.

Hi folks, just catching up with the new range.. missed the August (?) launch.
The reviews and shots you guys posted promted me to get the Officer cadet figure. He looks more like the part of the Basic action soldier of lore . (The best IMHO)
So here he is courtesy of Amazon Prime.
As folks have said he comes well packaged.
Here he is after stretching his limbs a bit.
Head sculpt works for me .
IMO its a good uniform . The beret is a dark green version of the basic ones on the T-rex issue soldier and sailor. Pity he doesn't have a belt and a weapon, but we can soon sort that !
The beret had some tissue paper in it. I removed it and he doesn't seem to have the popping beret problem of the flocked version Chris was mentioning.
After watching some you tube reviews , i realised I had a couple of the new bodies . It is very posable.
But first some comparisons .
Here he is in a comparison review .
Left to right original Canadian Joe, EE Hybrid, EEBP, Kitbash MAM battleforce, 40th, 50th , kitbash Trex on a Argos/Powerteam basic body, and our new guy.
back to back and side to side with the EEHybrid
here he is with a belt and beret swap and with a trusty SLR.
As we have seen from other folks reviews he has eaten his greens !!
Throwing a few poses. Not as dynamic as KDM's .. he still has to enter basic training
Lying down aiming pose a problem, but we may be able to fix that on further investigation?
A couple of head gear swaps but I think he will appear as- in the Munrovian ranks. Just need to sort out a good sticker for his beret badge.
Sgt Canadian Joe, key to Training all non VAM into the Munrovian ranks , welcomes him .
"now then big man , if I can lick those 50th's into shape , I can sort you out !"
So all in all like Brain, Dean, KDM and other folks, I'm pleasantly surprised. He is imo , in the tradition of classic VAM basic soldier.. so I can see a small 5 man squad with an officer being recruited. Like Chris I'll be changing his hands to grippers I think . Also like Dean I have a Marine on the way .. .. is there no hope
Hope the photo's helped folks .
Take care
