So, wait, does that mean Kroger is a Vampire or just under a hypnotic spell ala Renfield? The Demon Lady said that he is already dead, so he must be undead, but Vampires cannot exist in the sunlight, so he must be a Thrall instead, but that still means he can be destroyed. Also, who seals a demon in a box and leaves it out in the open? Next time, shuck that thing into the sea.....

Well, that s the mystery of Kroger isn't it? nobody fully know who or what he is. I'm sure his history will be re-visted again. As for the box? did you forget about the magic seal locking the door in the previous chapter? or indeed the fact that Professor Champion sealed something away a long time ago??
