As soon as I arrived at the Almondell model engineering centre I saw a 1/6 scale remote control tank. Me beside the tank.
Ivan just had to get involved and took over driving it.
Gangrene got to ride in the passenger seat of a military jeep.
Gangrene standing on the foot plate of a 4-6-0 main line stream locomotive.
Gangrene sitting the passenger cart.
We also looked at working models of steam engines.

Awesome pictures! That tank is awesome! It’s either an M26 Pershing or an M46 Patton; (can’t tell from the front.) Most likely a Pershing due to the double baffle muzzle brake and because then it can be used for both World War or Korea. Thanks for sharing!

Are you wearing a Ghostbusters uniform in that first picture?
I neeeeeeed a 1/6-scale tank... or three!
Those locomotives are marvelous! Are they "live steam" models? They look to be nearly 1/6-scale.... perhaps slightly smaller, maybe 1/8-scale?
Oh, interesting -- I looked at the website. The Model Engineering Centre is designed for modellers to bring their models there to operate, including as part of the railroad set-up!

It was a really fun play to visit. Ivan probably didn’t even know that Gangrene was there too.

I think the volunteer from Almondell model engineering centre who owned the remote control tank did tell me the name of the tank but I’ve forgotten sorry Nate. It was my pleasure to share these photos with you guys.

Dave I’m definitely not wearing a Ghostbusters uniform in that first picture, I’m actually wearing my lightweight rain jacket. Soooo you neeeeeeed a 1/6-scale tank, they definitely aren’t cheap I tell you that my friend. I pleased you found the website interesting while you were looking through it and it answered your own question too.

That looks like it was an epic day! The trains look amazing. Along with parks that use those scale trains to give rides (we rode a few in Texas several years ago) there are hobbyists who have 1/8 scale train layouts over here. Called model live steam trains. (Oh to have that much disposable income and space!) One has a WWII transport train with Hasbro and 21st vehicles on flatbed cars.
