| thanks for that mate - does the backstory come from a GI J comic / book? or was there an official figure/outfit that you taken your inspiration from? |

| He was in the comics, and he was also one of the small plastic GI Joe figures from when i was younger, think he was also in the GI Joe movie that came out recently. I went with several references, used pictures of the original figure and anything else i could fine on internet. He was also in the Action Force over here - but story of him changed slightly to fit UK; | |

| Nice 'Snowjob' bash Damo. He was one of my favourites from the 3 3/4 range I got him with the big snowcat vehicle and I may still have the figure with the few I have left in loft. I may be tempted to get them out and see if I can bash one of them. I did a crappy 'Barbecue' that I posted on OSAM but it wasn't up to much. | |

| I remember Spiffy Stu - he is such an inspired creation! 'If he gets shot down you can make him a parachute' LOLOL! That is fantastic - top drawer. As others have intimated, this is Hasbro level!!!! I'm not familiar with the Action Force/smaller gauge figures at all, but this 12'' version of Snowjob is a terrific tribute. Looking forward to more! _________________ | |

| Custom boxes.... sewing machine Lovely custom figures; handmade balaclava - WOW I did collect Action Force for a while back in the day and loved the background stories created for the various characters and I think that the AF product line offers some great scope for AM & other 12" figure bashes. | |

| Thanks guys I never saw your barbecue figure Ross you'll have to post him again!! Yeah get them out and post them in the offtopic and give some people inspiration for kitbashes. I keep wanting to do snakeeyes, an easy but good one would be shipwrecked all you'd need is the navvy set with a beardie and get a 1/6 parrot Thanks Again Jim, i do love Spiffy Stu - my brother still owes me some pictures - when i gave him to my brother we had a parachuting session at my grandads - thrown up in the air, thrown from bedroom windows... and getting caught on overhead cables - just like being a kid again, had my boys and me and my brothers all playing VAM Cheers Barney, yes i picked up my computer skills from my dad and sewing skills from my mum and with my nans sewing machine that i got handed down after she died - i've been making stuff since. Glad you like. And i agree the Action Force figures would be some great kitbashes. I remember having a couple when i was a kid the DPM Camo soldier and the diver with yellow and blue diving gear - fantastic!!! | |
