my latest project - 1/6 scale room

I decided to have a crack at building a 1/6 scale room.

I had an old bedside cabinet that had seen better days, so before the wife got me to throw it out I had the idea of building a 1/6 scale room out of it.
The bottom piece is still its standard size, but the walls were cut down to size, Using a drill I carefully drilled pilot holes in the floor and walls to allow access for the screws. Then using the drilled pilot holes I then used the screws to hold it all in place the room began to take shape !!

Here is where I have got to so far, I hope you guys like it !

Hey Guys, have not done too much on my room, but I have a little more to show. I decided that the walls needed to be higher (for photo purposes mainly) so I sized the walls at 18" in height, they still need to be trimmed off, so please excuse the roughness



as you may notice, there will now be a trench between the inner and outer walls, this will be were I run wires through for the lights inside the room.



The next thing I did was start to make the doors, I cut them at 12 3/4" in height and 4 " across, working on the scale of vam as 2" to 1ft. I cut two pieces and stuck them together to give added thickness. I also started making parts to turn the doors into panels for the door. More to come as I progress
