Action man made in Japan?????

Who has an idea on this production?

We know;

-made in England b palitoy 1964,
-CPG Production - corporation 1978 (last AM)

En , 1975 Hasbro -pat.pend pawt R.I.
              made in Japan

No information....For my AM Hasbro Japan???????

I must admit I haven't noticed this on any if mine, I'll have to recheck them. I wonder if it is just the Talkers that have this?

could well be,but I may be wrong!? tsukuda green beret or fallschirmjeager or U.S marine figure  made by the Japanese under licence for the Japanese and uk market, here is a uniform for sale on ebay ,though unfortunately the figure in the add is not the original,it would of been a blue pants figure just like yours,this would tie in with the japaneese licensed
figure you own

incedently the 40th fallschirmjeager that is pictured below is a copy of the tsukuda figure from japan hence the brown packaging ,hope this helps and   
 is correct??? maybe a more enlightened collector has a better answer !

I don't have a picture of the marine to hand but f you put tsukuda action man in your search engine it should come up with all 3 variations

i have just 1 also....It's talking commander en i don't know for others figures!!!

Looks like Jay's solved the mystery or at least come up with the most plausible theory! Well you learn something new everyday!

Tsukuda didn't do any talkers, as far as I know...

The Tsukuda I have just here by the hand is marked "CPG Products Corporation 1978".

sorry if I led you down the garden path ,I made 2+2=5, it just seemed to fit ,didn't realise it was a talker !
didn't realise the space talkers where made in japan , why did they do that then? had the uk stopped production by then ?.......sorry if I opened a wormy can !
