New Display Case!

I picked up a display case at IKEA about a week ago; and just put it together. It's not a very large case; so I'll be shuffling different figures in and out of it. At the moment I have most of my Vintage Joes and Action Men in the case.

Don't forget to keep direct sunlight of your Joes for long periods of time, otherwise the uniform colours will fade!

Thanks for the kind words all! Keeping direct sunlight from them won't be a problem. The Windows don't open, and the shades are wider. The problem is actually too little light; especially the top layer. I need to connect some type of artificial lighting to the roof.

...yeah, keep them out of the sunlight, you don't want them to cook inside that glass case. I'd suggest a nice cool shady corner with some mood lighting to set them off...  

Congrats to you--ya made me feel some envy at the neat case you have to show off yer figs. I just never get tired of seeing our "little buddies" on display!

Just be careful on what kind of light you use, lights tend to generate a lot of heat at close distance.

With the arrival of my Land Adventurer, all of my vintage figs are now in the case!



All he needs is for me to repair his shoulder holster!



Ironically, the Marine jeep driver is wearing the uniform that I found the Land Adventurer in. He's now wearing a 40th version.

I'm liking your New Display Case you have Glidah Drivah.

Invested in some Cotswold figure stands to prevent shelf-dives. The Joes got first dibs, as their legs are older and looser than the Action Man and modern figs. They'll also allow me to rearrange the case for more figs.

LOL; it's just the angle.

Over here they're both technically Land Adventurers. That's why I have them standing next to each other. I have to adjust the spacing throughout the case.
