| I had mentioned in the past that I was going to try and acquire a Steve Austin fig down the line. He (and Mattel's Pulsar) are both relatives and competitors to Joe; and are the toys that influenced the toys that i grew up with. Kenner's success with the line led to their even greater success with the Star Wars line. The only childhood fig I have is from their (sadly overlooked) Indiana Jones series. This past weekend, this showed up on my doorstop, thanks to Dal! I put him in some SOTW clothes for the time being. They are cut quite large for 1/6 figs, but fit Steve fairly well. (Sleeves and trouser legs are a bit short) Next to a similarly dressed MB Joe: Thought that I'd post some comparison pics to how Steve stacks up to some standard 1/6 figs. They are a MOA, DML (taller) figure and Sideshow James Bond. Next to a '64 body Joe: Next to a DML figure: Next to a Sideshow 007: The Sideshow fig has a similar inseam, but is much more narrow. -Nate

| Great addition Nate!
It's weird every time I see height comparison shots with a Joe, Steve Austin seems to look even bigger than he did in the last comparison shots!

The fact that Joe/VAM are short for 1/6 scale. Something like 5'8" or 5'9". Steve is about 6'6" in comparison. -Nate

| Nice shoes Nate! Are they original? I'm not familiar with that figure as I was about 15 years old when Steve Austin figure came out... _________________ JIM...

was about 15 years old when Steve Austin figure came out... Yes, they are the sneakers that originally came with the red tracksuit. They've darkened with age. I only caught the show on reruns. Being an 80s kid, Steve Austin will always be the Fall Guy to me! I've got a Six Million Dollar Man outfit on the way; going to take some pics of Steve and Mike Power showing off their 70s threads! -Nate

| I remember watching the show all the time as a kid but I was to old at that time to get the Steve Austin Action figure... So I remember him best as the six million dollar man give or take away a few bucks... _________________ JIM...
