BOXED TALKING SPACE COMMANDER 1982

1982 saw only one boxed release but what a great release The Talking Space Commander was He came in a big delicious box and boasted FIVE random new commands:


All units stand by
Im Going in
Were under attack
Prepare to repel invaders
Oxygen Level Falling
Space station now visible
Wait a minute isn't that six commands??????

These are often overlooked in favour of military AM. It's a great looking figure outfit (shades of BLAKES 7) it's also in superb mint condition. Personally I love the AM Space Ranger range, I've always had an intrest in anything to do with space, sci-fi and the stars.


The Action Man Space Rangers fall into the rare'ish camp, anything that wasn't a huge success is always going to be harder to find because there are less about (limited shelf life) This is probably why most of them are in such good condition  

A couple of years ago at a boot sale, some fella had a vam stall, amongst it all was some boxed Space Ranger (SR) figures and a loose SR vehicle, there was also a ROM figure, I managed to get a Joe book and a boxed HOF figure (limited cash).

I like to think somewhere out there, there's a dusty store room full of these Space Rangers and their vehicles (old new stock)

Now who at Palitoy can't count I love this box and will definatley be putting this on my wants list. Great upload Danny.
