Green Beret Black Ops

Here's my latest addition my GI Joe Masterpiece Edition 1996 Specialist Thomas Shelby in his Newly arrived from Cotswold Collectables "Black Ops Green Beret uniform and Medal set

He looks fantastic Ian! Those Cots unis are a great idea and I think we all have a few plans for GB variations.

Cheers Steve, Yes as soon as I saw them I had made plans for this set the Jackets are a bit on the roomy side for my PH but still a cool bit of kit, I liked the Tigerstripe set too but it wasn't the same style as the original GB uni but still will have to have a set

Cheers Jim the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart arrived yesterday with the Cotswold stuff from the States very nice they are indeed

Yes I like that look much better than as an AT. You could pin the jacket from the back to achieve a more tailored look.

Awesome Gi Joe Black ops stunning figure Ian And as always superb photos,

I get some bits now and again from Cotswold collectables anything you get from them always has a tracking number and as you say Ian very fast shipping

Cheers Rich I really like the original GB uniform for its use of more material and think the proportions are about right on that uniform, but this is very generous I do a bit of sewing to make my kit up but wouldn't want to spoil this uniform with my numb hands and dodgy needlework

The uniform is a nice reworking of the classic, i think it will fit all modern figures, including HOF & MAM figures

The Masterpiece head sculpt is the best of the lot, it's good enough to replace original shrunken/worn out heads. If only Masterpiece heads were available in blister packs of 4

Yes mate its a great remake, the main difference is it's missing the tags at the lower back that are on the original GB uniform plus the size difference, Yes I'm sure they have designed it with modern Joe and MAM figures in mind' the catalog shows the light tan version on a bearded AT and they go under the title of 'build your own Commander' there is a nice tiger-stripe set but that only looks to have breast pockets but I will probably get that set with next months pocket money

bread and jam you are so lucky mate to have both when I was a lad all I got for breakfast was cold water from a tap outside and a taste of our dads belt ( a little pythonesque humour)
