Kitbash: Air Police Communications

I've seldom, if ever, seen a figure using the GI Joe Action Pilot Communications card with anything other than the basic Action Pilot figure in his orange fatigues and blue cap. I've read on one GI Joe forum that the Communications set was probably intended as part of the Scramble pilot set, but as you an see from the card, there is no mention of "Scramble", it simply states "Communications"



Seeing as how two GI Joe MP sets and one Shore Patrol set featured the Field Radio backpack for their respective "police officers", I decided to apply the items from this set to an Air Police figure...



Carbine, bayonet and white cartridge belt are standard Hasbro issue across many sets.



Jacket, shirt, tie and pants are from the GI Joe Dress Pilot set and the boots are from the Action Pilot basic figure...



Truncheon is from the Navy Dress Parade card and the helmet is a Cotswold repro of the Hasbro Air Police helmet...
