| Found this kind of zip tie at work and cut off a small section with a craft knife, keeping two of the bulbous sections, one for to keep it in the holster and one to clip the flap on to... simples! _________________ RalphMe? How about this?
FIRE EXTINGUISHER SECURITY SUITCASE TAG TIES SEALS X 25 Select Black! Have you used these?[/quote] ...I haven't used this particular brand/version, but they look like the same product as the green one I picked up at work, we could fix a lot of holsters from just one zip tie, maybe we should buy a pack and share them out, what do you think? _________________ RalphMe? | Good tip!
A dab of gold coloured acrylic paint would make it perfect. _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |

| I had a go at finishing off my vintage holster this weekend. So, I fixed the clip as described above and then painted the end with black paint. To finish it off I bought some leather look cord from Hobbycraft to create a tassel and leg tie. This cord is used for beading work. I've never really understood what the original red plastic cord was for, until SKJ explained that it was supposed to be a leg tie, but never really worked as such. So, I decided to make it work and add a tassel to finish it off... What do you guys think? _________________ RalphMe? Well, I live life vicariously! My Action Man? Well, he lives life victoriously!
