Cheers Jay yes the fronts a good fit mate but a bit sparse around the old Kyber pass but as long as he's not attacked from the rear he should be alright _________________

| Cool project mate! I always wanted to make a suit of armour in 1/6 scale, I should have done it when I had the time, tools and materials at my disposal at work but those days are gone now! What bigger figure would you use? Would a SMDM be a better scale??

| We've been discussing about making chainmail over on Chat for a while. We've found a few solutions You might find useful for your Armour. Chain mail. These are the best 2 I've found so far. Metal. Handbags!....handbags you say? This configuration of chain is ready available right now. There are 2 sizes of this type of chain....you'll want the smallest, in scale it would look like this..... You'll want to use the underside of it which looks like this..... It will take a spraying too if you want to paint it up. Cloth Chainmail. I've found the best for this is the mesh from kids Knight Costumes especially M&S ones They are both the same material, the figure on the left has been sprayed black and painted up! Might give your Knight a covered backside! | |

Thanks Ross the body I used was a Mattel Max Steel, the original sculpture was a bit out of proportion but I really want to make a 1/6th set and maybe Steve Austin would have been a bit big for the legs on the original, I was lucky enough to find the original tin statue so has taken a lot of the work out of the project _________________

| Outstanding work with the chainmail. Certainly beats the cloth ones on the market.
Also the solid looking links (top instead of reverse side) would work beautifully for a wealthy Knight or dare I suggest Knight of the Round Table. Certainly stand out against the others using reverse side up.
