| Guy on the left is quite expressive with that smirk.
Second from the left is 1970s style cool with those sideburns! He could be a circa 1973 menswear catalogue model! _________________ ... DAVE

| I have just ordered the holster and PPK, and a sweater for Georgie. The former should be here in a matter of days, and The later should take about eleven. (Slow boat from China)
At any rate, they should both be here by Christmas.
And I also ordered some bits from Cotswold. Perhaps those will arrive by the end of the week? They're usually pretty quick since we're on the same continent.

| The sweater just took flight, and the Cots stuff doesn't appear to have shipped yet? Maybe the holiday has slowed them down. | |

| Ooh! Is that a Walther PPK he's packing?
I always liked the black jumper & shoulder holster "Spy Island" look for GI Joe guys. _________________ ... DAVE

| This year, my AM goals are as follows:
Get the Daltrey brothers back into service, (still trying to confirm their location).
Uniform the boys that don't have the new one (need 10 more, plus assorted bits for the Adventurers).
Finish moving them into the 21st century (updated equipment and dossiers).
I think SWMBO will be ok as long as I spend gift card money on this, and I think she'll be even more ok in the summer when I make more money.

| We've just received a communique from Gunner Munro HQ, the Daltrey brothers have been recovered, and are presently en route to AYHQ for rehabilitation, then reinstatement. | |

| After a trade with Gunner Munro, and reflocking by Mick Coxy, and some refurbishments, I present the Brothers Daltrey, at last. Althought they're a little different from the last time Steve saw them. Tim, sporting a mean Mohawk. Found those dreaded blue mold(?) spots after Mick shaved his hair down. So the scar paint sprang into action to cover those up. Mrs.AY is unhappy with the colour, so they may be repainted later. I think Mick nicked him while sanding. And Pierce. Featuring standard length hair and 'tache, with half-length stubble. | |

| I do like the varying lengths for the flocking of the beard, hair and moustache. Avoids that "exploding fuzz-ball" look. Is that blue mould you mention a common problem for Joes? |

| Seems more common in AM than in Joes, in my experience.
A quick "blue mold" search on this forum or on UAMHQ will turn up several results/theory/images about the dreaded malady.

| Pierce Daltrey: what an excellent name!
Nice flock work on these guys! Always good to see a vintage fig restored to fighting fitness! _________________ ... DAVE
