| Here's a closer look at all of my Action Men. SeanI'm slightly Scottish, and seeing this set on ebay 10 or so years ago was my first real exposure to Action Man. And I had to have it. I snagged it in August of 2016, and have increased my collection since then. I named him after Sean Connery, one of my favorite actors, and my English heritage name, Stevens. I had him reflocked as he lost much of his hair. ClintThe "Heavy Weapons" set as it's called here in the US is very rare (two year release), and has not been reproduced well (non-functioning die cast). Plus, the art on the card is just fab. Sgt. ChurchBought for me by Chris (Rogue Trooper), from Lui66 on HQ, I named this figure after Chris to show my gratitude. Sgt. Christopher Church. I originally used an all-40th uniform, but the beret was just too tight. A VAM replacement was sent to me by ghost recon on AMMO (along with some other fab bits. "Melbourne"Melbourne came to me as a head from Lui66. Note that he his on a Cotswold body, retrofitted with Modellers Loft 40th Grippers. HamishHamish is just like "Melbourne," but I had to have him custom flocked. Georgie Best sideburns seemed to fit. The Boots are from Lui66, the trou I bought, and the jumper is from Chris, mended by Miss AY. Commander MacBethAfter watching a video about John McAleese, I found myself greatly wanting an SAS figure. MacBeth was gifted to me by gunner munro, proclaiming his Munrovian name to be Peter. Not one to mess with things. I incorporated it into his AY Name. Sir John Peter MacBeth. He's a BPEE, with the Sharpshooter Neck. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ME2pJi2sOdsGeorgieThe Second figure to come to me from Chris. An early Birthday present because I found out. He bought him for me because of my interest in the VAM Commando uni. To show my gratitude a second time, in Georgie's backstory I gave him Chris' Nationality. Georgie Sheridan is Irish. I had him reflocked too. I added bits from SlackElastic, Chris again, and ZippyVam on HQ(in exchange for a book). "Blues"Gifted from Blues & Royals on HQ, I was eager to try my hand at putting a figure together from scratch. He pulled together all the appropriate parts, and sent him along. The only thing he didn't have was hands. Which was fine because Chris had some to spare. Named after Blues & Royals: Thomas "Blues" Jameson. Originally, he was my AYHQ second in command, but I since got another figure that fills that role better. So "Blues" is my AYHQ Pilot now. Using the 40th Pilot Uni from Lui66. Captain ShepardBought this figure myself (the third of my nine :histerica ), he's an excellent condition Talking Commander, pending repairs. Namely replacement arm parts, and fiddling with the talking unit. The part about this figure I love the most is his face paint. It's so minty it's evergreen, and as far as I know, vintage and not touched up. That's it, that is my "Action Nine" up close. | |

| All great looking figures and additions Ian. You did a grand job having some re flocked. I also like the fact that you have given them all names to reflect in many cases where they came from | |

| I think the Classic Collection US Navy Seal Shore Landing figure would look better with black coloured MAM/modern Joe lycra shorts. You have a good variety of Joes _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |

| I've got four of the GIJCC Exclusive Uniform cards. Here's two of them. Magnum PowerRegarded as the finest reproduction uniform to date, this also included a pair of brown boots, which weren't in the original set. The boots are on my Foreign Adventurer kitbash. Modeled on Commander MacBeth Vintage 3D Joes Magnum PowerGreen BeretThe Green Beret card released by the GIJCC is different than vintage releases, as it includes just about everything related to the Green Beret, all on one card. The only problem is that it has the spring, but not the ability to fire. Damn Consumer Product Safety Commission. Still a step above the Timeless Collection release, which had no spring. Damn Consumer Product Safety Commission. But a VAM40 bazooka, which has a spring and does in fact fire, fixes it. Vintage 3D Joes Green Beret, Special Forces and Bazooka, and Green Beret Machine Gun Outpost. I don't have pictures of the reproduction cards, but the Magnum Power card is spot on, aside from some modest marks to tell it apart from vintage, the Green Beret set features a watered-down version of the Special Forces card. | |

| Well, as many of you know, I cloned Cliff Sabre, of skj fame, for my collection, bumping my count of 9 to 10. Cliff 2.0 /\ Cliff Prime \/ Now, what most of you don't know, is that I bought another figure from Dal. A Desert Fighter figure, of sorts, with custom FlockTastic flocking, a rarity nowadays, I'm sure. Here are Dal's pictures of the fellow coming to AYHQ. This fellow looks splendid, and I can't wait for him to get here, so I can try adding different accessories on him to round out the look. | |
