Church: SIR! Respectfully, you're going to want to hear what I have to say.

Moments later...

CW: How many messages has Sean sent since the first one?

Church: Three, Sir. Two give vital details on Dragon Mountain.

CW: Did he say how many hostiles are there?

Church: About five hundred sir.

CW: My lord, are they using caves?

Church: Stevens confirmed that they are using a complex cave system, just like in Bang Sathanthi.

CW: Entry points?

Church: He says he knows of one, on the Eastern side of the Western peak, but there's been talk of several.

CW: How's, uh, how's he holding out?

Church: Say's he's been tortured since they captured him, Sir.

CW: Hmmm.

Church: May I make a suggestion sir?

CW: By all means, Sergeant.

Church: We have to go get him sir, he's provided valuable intelligence on Dragon Mountain, the least we can do is go get him.

CW: But we've pulled out of Undevia, and have you forgotten the 48 hour rule?

Church: I haven't forgotten it Sir, I just think it's poor taste to leave the man who got us Dragon Mountain information to the Nationalists to die.

CW: I'm going to tell you something that I haven't told anyone yet, Sergeant Church, my command is up in a month, and I don't want to leave on a sour note.

Church: I assure you, pull Stevens out, debrief him completely, and go in and 'clean up' as the Yanks say, you'll set the bar pretty high for whoever comes in after you. Do you know who that is by the way?

CW: Not off the top of my head, some SAS chap, but you really think we can do this?

Church: Absolutely.

CW: Alright, you go get Stevens.

Church: Me, Sir?

CW: Yes you. And take whatever you need from the Quartermaster at Fort Brechin.

Church: Yes Sir.

CW: And Church? If this goes belly up, it's your arse too.

Church: Understood.

QM: Since the UK has "Officially" pulled out of Undevia, we can't legally send you in, so you'll be piggybacking an American unit, wearing American uniform.

Church: Gross.



QM: You'll not be wearing your beret, but you'll have your kit bag.

Church: Oh good.



QM: Follow me further into the base, and I'll get you situated and fully briefed.

Intriguing story so far

VERY interesting story, I'm going to really enjoy reading and looking through the pictures AY.

Church's Journal:

After a political hold up the likes of which I have never seen nor want to again, I'm finally out on Dragon Mountain armed with an American AR-15 and an "Alaska Command" jacket which is not at all warm enough.



Based on the intel provided by Stevens, enemy presence here is surprisingly light, I've not seen a single Nationalist.



Of course, the time it took for the red tape to get resolved may have changed things. The Nationalists could have found out what Stevens did, killed him, packed up and left.



This mountain is huge, I wonder if I'll ever find that cave mouth.



Stevens' best bet is for me to keep looking...
