I was looking through some old photos today, some I took when I started out on this crazy vam collecting hobby . You can see Jake in his sas gear on the right. A lot of these guys are no longer with me, many have been traded away in exchange for Joe's and other stuff, but for me, it has been all part and parcel of an amazing journey, which is far from over

Great pic! I spotted Jake immediately – he's very distinctive. I think one of the most interesting points about VAM is that although they basically have identical head sculpts, there are many subtle variations that give them all quite different faces.

Yeah, I agree, it gives them each their own personality . Jake does stand out doesn't he?, I thought it was just me

For those of you who don't visit chat, I am currently putting my sas troop back together . I have substituted the basic sas flac jacket with the ones used on the wolfpack guys, though I found them a lot cheaper on ebay. Here is my SAS Commander, Johnathon Jericho
