No Face is back at Demetrius’s warehouse. He is telling Demetrius how he killed Carl.
“I had to pretend, whilst video calling Carl, that I didn’t require payment for killing you as I really enjoyed the task. I then suggested that I would pay Carl instead to take me on his next treasurer hunt.”
“I then met with him at the pre-arranged meeting place.“
“I handed over the payment for the next treasurer hunt that I was pretending I wanted to go with him.”
“I then pretended to walk away.”
“I then crept back and, luckily, Carl was so busy checking out the contents of the envelope that he was totally unaware of me climbing the rock.”
“On reaching the top I immediately spotted a pile of boulders. I quickly decided to use these as a weapon to crush Carl.”
“I pushed the boulders over the edge aiming them at him and my deadly aim was spot on. They crushed Carl to death.”
“I returned to the body to ensure that Carl was completely and utterly crushed to death. I then retrieved my envelope of money.”
“So that’s the whole story of how I killed him. If you ever need someone to protect you while your on your travels searching for treasure, then I’m more than happy to come along with you. Of course, there would be a fee involved. I don’t operate for no payment!”
Demetrius replies by saying, “I’m more than capable of protecting myself thank you very much when I’m off searching for treasures.” No Face states that’s fine. “I’ll be heading off then.”
With that No Face heads off.

No face is not someone I would want to rub up the wrong way . I would be a bit more careful how I spoke with him if I were Demetrius .

Demetrius is a bit more shrewd and savvy than Carl, apparently. For one thing, Demetrius is still alive. Also, he is smart enough to want nothing whatsoever to do with No Face now that the job is done. Demetrius knows he couldn't trust No Face for a moment while out on an expedition.
Would you trust No Face?

Thanks for your thoughts on Demetrius. I definitely wouldn’t trust No Face myself .

I think Demetrius needs to watch his back. No-Face might not be happy with his decision and take him out.
