I had mentioned these to Alexander in PM's, but he didn't seem aware of them.
In the Real American Hero line (which I have later found out to be the Real International Heroes in other countries) they made the B.A.T.S. , Battle Android Troopers, in the small Joes line.
These are the 1/6 scale versions. They came with multiple weapons, a chainsaw arm, a rifle arm and spring loaded missile launcher with one missile aside from regular arms. The arms are a ball and socket type, two of the figures the socket decided to partially break off when I was posing them.
I thought I had 5, but digging them out I found I had 7. Once I apparently got loose since he only had the regular arms, the rest I got boxed because they had the instruction sheet with them.
There is a commander called Overkill, but I couldn't get my hands on him for the photos, I will post them later when I find him.
I hope someone likes them.
Daryl

Okay Daryl…… these 1/6 scale Cobra Android Troops look totally awesome. I’m liking that each one comes with different arm weapon. I especially like the Cobra Android Troop with the chainsaw arm, he looks like he could chainsaw off some Joes heads off muahahaha. I’m hoping we’ll be seeing pictures of them going up against some of your Joes and of course beating the Joes. Off corse I’m naturally rooting for the Cobra Android Troops. I’m really loving the group shot Daryl.
Thanks so much for sharing these pictures on AMMO.

Thanks Alexander!
However, except for the one I got loose that only has the regular arms, the boxed ones came with ALL of the weapons, as shown in the first two photos.
They are loaded with weapons.

Great one Daryl I never knew about the 1/6 versions but I am with the original 3 3/4". I loved the first edition in the 80s but the second version in 91 was just as neat. I loved the original Overkill in 92, a great for Joes IMO.
OK, back to your figures, honestly if you didn't say they were B.A.T.S. I may have not have known whom they were. With that being said, they are really shiny and colorful. His accessories is really nice, great gun and I dig that chainsaw. His sculpting is really nice as well and I love his chest. He looks really, really robotic this time and his face make him look really sadistic.
I like these a lot Daryl, a bit of a surprise to Me. Once you find Overkill and able to post him let Me know, I wanna see him so forget dude

I'm glad you like them Brandon.
And I'm glad you reminded me. I got busy with other stuff and forgot to look for Overkill. I've made myself a note and will look for him.

Subject: Cobra B.A.T.S and leader Overkilll (updated) Thu Aug 05, 2021 5:52 am
I couldn't remember where I had stored the B.A.T.S leader Overkill. I was actually looking for something else and came across him.
The 3 3/4" inch version had a red robotic head and hands. The 1/6 is a little different, looking more like a cyborg.
Unlike the B.A.T.S he has only one arm that has the ball/socket joint for the attachable weapons, his left arm is regular for holding a machine pistol and knife.
He has two attachable arms, one a blade (which looks like a gun attached) and a weapon arm. He has a knife in his left boot (which looks like the plastics reacted, rubber from the boot seems to have attached to the blade).
And although the others are Battle Android Troopers, Overkill seems to be more of a cyborg. When the helmet and scarf are removed, his head seems normal except for the steel lower part of his face.
Although his eyes are blank.
I hope you like him!
Daryl

Thank you very much for sharing B.A.T.S leader Overkill with us Daryl. I’m really liking Overkill’s Head sculpt especially the steel lower part of his face.

I agree with Alex, the steel part of the face that appears "grafted on" is extremely creepy-cool!

That is usually how it goes when you are looking for something and the thing you weren't expecting is there, happens to Me all the time but I don't know why but I'm not complaining The only Overkill I was familiar with was the original 3 3/4 one in 92 which I loved him. I wasn't sure what this recent version would look like. Your figure is awesome. I love his head sculpt and his weapon arsenal is great and I really dig his color scheme.
Great post, pics and write up as always Daryl Thanks for posting him Daryl

Certainly some very versatile blokes! A handy crew to have about when doing home renovations perhaps?

I'm glad you like him Brandon. I had a 3 3/4" version, that was one of the four talking versions. But the backpacks that did the talking were so heavy the figures had trouble standing. I might still have him, I'm not sure. I know I sold some of them.
But I like the 1/6 version better.
Thanks for the compliments!

LeStryge, yeah, between blades and chainsaws, they could cut some walls easily!
