A few changes. The bookcase is now fixed to the wall..and has doors at the bottom. The desk is back where it's always been. I think I prefer it there. The picture frame that was on the left hand wall is now on the back wall...yes there really is a picture in there..it just doesn't show up with my current lighting set up All of the furniture has been repainted except for the large table. There will eventually be a sofa where the table is at the moment. The HUGE pin board that was on the right hand wall has gone leaving plenty of wall space for various artifacts. Still a long way to go, but I feel that I'm slowly getting there.
And here's the un-edited version so that you can get a better idea of my set up...if you're at all interested

Looking good Chris, just remember, these things take time to put together, especially collecting all the small pieces that make up the details of the dio itself.

Thanks Dal
I realised today that all of my pictures are taken from one angle. This was due to how my workbench was laid out. I've had a tidy up and a move around so that now I can access the dio from different angles.

I always liked it turned toward the corner, but now seeing it parallel to the left wall, I like it.

Hmmm… other side of the room, maybe. Switch positions with the planning table, so there’s more room for more guys around the table.
You can always move things around depending on the scene you’re setting up.
All that being said, I liked the desk in the corner. Angled in the corner shows off the paneling on the front. Plus, it allows the commander to keep an eye on everyone. More importantly, the corner position allows us, the audience, to see the commander’s reactions to everything that’s happening anywhere in the room. And a corner placement allows for more variety in the arrangement of figures that are interacting with the commander or at the desk.

Desk is back at an angle....for now The table will be gone soon...its in the way of where the sofa will go. Oh...and I've just taken the painting off the wall too.

"As you can see, we've moved the conference table closer to the command desk to make room for incoming furnishings; to wit, a sofa. And let me be clear: there will be no shoes allowed on the sofa! Any questions?"

Chris, I’m really liking this picture of Rufus briefing some of the heads of department. What makes it for me is Rufus holding his pipe. Rufus’s briefing looks incredible serious, important and most top secret .
