Retro Alien Thriller Challenge.

It begins but where are the rest of the pictures and story?

In the best theatrical tradition we'll ignore the critics and carry on
Anyhow... Dawn rises early in this part of the bush, Ginger was doing a quick patrol round the perimeter in the jeep....wandering dazed and clearly distressed was Anya Valentinova, Ginger screeched to a halt, sat her down and tried to find out what had occurred..
Against orders she had gone off into the forest in the cool of the early hours.. and literally walked straight into those two creatures, she seemed hazy as to exactly what had passed between them, but it was an obviously traumatic encounter, despite her usual bravado.
It's very likely that her failure to take a weapon with her had in fact saved her life.. The two she ran into were probably simply doing a recce, and as we all know rule no1 of recon "don't get into a punch up" it's not what you're there for!
From what Ginger could get out of her they seemed very detached, though menacing in appearance, apart from checking her out so to speak didn't offer any actual threat or violence.
The CO was going to need to hear about all this ASAP...

Those damned Swedes (the Borg) are programmed to ignore anything that isn't an immediate threat or part of their mission parameters.  It would be a different ball game entirely if they were Norwegian.

Great contribution Dal, and perfectly in keeping with the parameters. Let's hope the tin guy doesn't spot Tabi.

After a strong cup of tea with a double tot of rum added, a full report was needed, as Miss Valentinova is the only person so far to have met these entities at close quarters, her input is absolutely vital, no doubt the intelligence boys will want to quiz her in great detail in due course.
She was asked to provide as much info as possible including a sketch, if she could manage it, giving some idea of their appearance.. this is what she drew.....

Meanwhile back on the "cube"....
