Anyway this is what I’ve collected so far..

I am impressed that you are able to find so many sets, and to even find empty boxes! You're doing some serious detective work! Are you a private eye as your "day job"?

Detective.. The Indian, German staff officer , camp kommandant , and parachute regiment I bought only this morning , from a member on another forum, went to his house …he had the largest collection of 40 th boxed stuff I’ve ever seen , I’m not exaggerating when I say he could open his own shop…he’s selling his many spares….the others I got on eBay…..

Whoa! That's cool! So this was all released circa 2004? I didn't realize they had released so much! This is a fantastic collection.
Do you have everything that was released in the 40th collection?
Back then, a few short years ago (or... was it actually twenty years ago?), they could still market things with a swastika on the package, huh? That wouldn't fly today, would it? Can't even show that symbol on eBay, not even on toys or historical items. It's sad how extremely "sensitive" our culture has become. I don't know how people can find this symbolism, when used in a historical context, 'triggering' when they weren't even born at the time. It has certainly made things challenging for military and historic action figure collectors.
Glad to know Hasbro and GI Joe were sticking to their historic military roots during the 40th anniversary, and that they could still issue sets like this. Sad that the 40th series may have been the "last hurrah" for classic GI Joe.

Yes it’s all 40th..This is only a small section of what they made for the 40th range…..I think they did about 50 of the presentation box sets and various other bits and pieces …probably 80 different pieces altogether.( don’t quote me on that..) I went to a guys house a couple of weeks ago from another forum, to buy some 40th bits from him and he has the whole collection plus almost as many doubles ….I was shell shocked at how much stuff he had ..it almost filled his whole bedroom…. I never bought any when they came out in 2006.. , but have recently got into buying a few … It’s stupid They have banned the swastika…its part of history ( bad history ). But still people need to know about these things ….
