It's always a treat to see Sakkara the Demon... because she's so hot!

Actually, she's an interesting character, in that she's one of the few that can actually irritate Jake Rivers. He's on edge from the moment she appears.

That was pretty cool how she forced him to his knees! Jake will have to learn to maintain his cool, and to work "smarter, not harder," if he wants to stay ahead of a demon. He's not accustomed to being physically bested by anyone.

I wonder if she's playing straight with Jake (playing jake with Jake is a phrase we might use here in the States; don't know if "jake" is slang for "ok" or "all right" or "on the level" elsewhere), or if she used this opportunity to plant other info in his subconscious mind, something she can capitalize on at her convenience.

I'm pleased that Jenna was able to convince Jake to include others in his mission with Redbox. Jake's blind faith in the duplicitous Redbox seems extreme to the point of absurd sometimes. I wonder if Redbox still holds some secrets that Jake doesn't want to see the light of day?

Then again, it makes sense, after Redbox shot Poppy Parker, that Jake might not want to expose any of the others on his team to Redbox's villainy. However, Redbox has also shot Jake in the past, and if he did not have other team members present, it would have meant the end for him; so Jenna is correct to have expressed concern.

I wonder why Jenna did not volunteer to go herself. Perhaps because nobody else is quite yet ready to take on the tasks of the second-in-command at BAM-HQ.

Interesting episode, packing a lot of ideas in to a few crisp, punchy pages.

When I first started the last two chapters, they were meant to be just one, but after finishing the first, I realized I needed more pics to make it work, so one became two . Indeed! Sakkara really does put Jake on edge, she is an opponent he can't get the better of, or so it seems at the moment. So he tends to act firs, rather than think things through. She, as we know, is also extremely powerful, and skilled in ancient magics and spell work. Is she is playing Jake, we will have to wait and see as our saga unfolds further.
Jenna is Jake's voice of reason, she buts through the bull-spit to remind Jake that Demitri is not only untrustworthy, but a dangerous opponent. She recommended those two as she knows they will protect their commander, not what they come up against! Redbox on the other and is a sly old dog, he ha dirt on jst about everyone and lies are his shield, so again, we will have to wait and see if he has anything else on the commander?
As for Jenna staying behind, it's ind of her responsibility now, while the boss is away, Plus she has made great connections herself with Kamino, and maybe even the grumpy old General. She's just glad Bob doesn't keep phoning her anymore asking her if she wanted any signed pics

Thanks Ian . You gotta remember mate, I've been at this for a long time, and the bar and Jake's study have been rebuilt and altered many times. It's taken a long time to get all the little bits, and I'm always adding more! . in truth, I probably have spent a lot, but years back, things weren't so expensive, were they
