We've started to paint up the Longue Carabine also added a bit of brass









starting to take shape need a bit of a sealer and some more brass but getting there

Yes mate it does take a bit of time, doesn't help with very shakey hands

Here's Hawkeye aiming the Longue Carabine with the newly trimmed coonskin hat with tail I literally gave blood for this, my thumb is pricked to bits with the sowing needle lol

Haha yes I tried the scarf thing but wasn't too impressed its all trial and error until you get it right . Ha bet your sister loved you back in the day

Cheers Mark I'm really happy with this bash the Davy Crockett hat I made from a ear flap of a fury hat it took some tight sowing work and a lot of stabbed fingers

Been busy this morning fitted a flintlock and trigger guard as well as putting a couple of tiny nails in the rear plate its starting to really take shape now
