Package evades Gunners supreme commander

A package from the final recruitment drive of 2016 arrives at Munrovian HQ. Amazingly Supreme Commander a took delivery and has made no comment  

No1 and Braddock check out the Jeep with NoName and Blonde.

Och Really?  that would be brilliant - Our last 1:1 commander explained although he really loved us & was reluctant to let us go, he realised we needed to get back into the VAM game again... and that loft was bloody freezing !!

Corporal Murdo - the fittest of the 5 &  RN Diver Campbell is the biggest challenge- Scuba rot and a replacement arm required.



In the back ground Lancer  Watson- (He has a snapped elbow.( at the back in the white breeches.) and Braddock catch up

Don't worry Watson - Gunner will be able to fix you up !

So the last of 2016 Recruitment drive requested by Major Mike is complete.

Soon they will Join the Munrovians and help them liberate Munrovia from the Invading Dragonians Action Man

I'm putting a bit of self restraint into the process ! I've gathered so much stuff in the past 9 months I'm thinking

Blimey better start using what you have got vs just adding more of the same !

So my project list is

1. Finish off 14 platoon
2. Get out the needle and thread and start to repair all the great Uni's I have
3. get the AM's under repair repaired and into units
4. Repair the Turbo Copters and get that unit airborne
5. Equip the Marx figures with some kit and get them out on patrol.
6. Construct a 1/6th Version of the Airfix Strong point ( long dark winter project)

That will do for starters

Got this from the toy shop opposite Wandsworth town hall back in the day. It was 50p if I remember correctly.

I had a 1/32nd scale one -Airfix soldiers were another passion 1/72nd & the 54mm kits.

Me and my mates used to do HG Wells Little Wars on a MASSIVE scale

I loved the Multipose sets - lots of fantasy units there too.

So I'll get on to the net and find some scale conversion charts and see If i can remember any of my war-game scratch building skills.

Great additions Gunner ! ,that strong point looks a fantastic 1/6th project , polystyrene is a great medium as is can be cut and shaped !and detail added like bricks and bullet holes in plaster etc. good luck with the build ,would like to see the finished building !

I've also bought some 2nd hand "How to build 1/12th Dolls houses" books that also help with techniques.

I want it to be easy to move & store , which I guess means being able to take it to bits

If you have any photo's of anything you may have built that would be great.

Dal and Steve are your guys as they have both built some great sets , dal has built a castle type set that comes apart apart made from high density foam , apart from that I have a link to a guy on fb that makes 1/6 th ruins and sets from polystyrene , I'll try and figure out a link and pm it to you ! When I figure it out ! ,I'm a bit of a Luddite !
