The Star Patrol Needs YOU!

When I first saw this thread, I thought about the astronaut figures I had. I found and posted a MAM astronaut figure I have,
and I had already posted the Joe modern AT astronaut. A more retro figure.



At the time I was thinking of another figure. The set was made for the HOF Joes, but I put it on a Classic Collection Joe.
At the end of the first ARAH 3.75 inch Joes, they had figures that were space themed called the Star Brigade. Not many were
made and they turned out to be pretty rare. Joe astronauts and alien adversaries.

This was the only set made for the HOF in that theme. The small Joes had file cards, the HOF line was made the same way,
since the Hall of Fame figures were 1/6 scale versions of the 1/18 scale figures. I couldn't remember where I had stored this
figure, and just recently found him.

I apologize for the blurry scan. The blister package back is larger than my scanner and is very thick. so it doesn't lay flat.
The figure has a helmet that is tall, so you can't see his complete face. The shield is very yellow/orange.



He has a backpack with a mounted gun, and carries a gun that fires a plastic missile.



His left arm has the Star Brigade patch. The gloves on this figure are not hand shaped, basically round. It makes it near
impossible to place the rifle in his hands.



And he has crampons for his boots.



I apologize for the glaring round reflections in the face shield. I used my new ring light for these photos, not thinking.
And I forgot to mention that the face shield pivots up into the helmet.

The chap in Blue , and the ant like Alien look lots of fun . I like the mounted gun on the backpack , very Predator likeness . You have a very interesting collection , Daryl and one to envious of .

Excellent space figures! I've not seen these later-issue Joe astronauts before! I love those traction boots! And real rocket-firing action!

The blue suit and alien are a set, part of the modern Adventure Team line from the early 2000's.
There are three different aliens. The set is called Secret of Planet Xenome.

The white one didn't come with a figure, it's a set from the Hall of Fame series and was on a blister pack.
I put it on a Classic Collection figure because they are more poseable.

The blue set is neat, but the size and weight of the helmet makes him very top heavy. He can't stand for more than a
couple of seconds. As I recall, the right arm of the alien is up and he's leaning against it so I could take the photo.

I thought of Predator as well when I first saw the set.

It's actually the aliens that came with these sets that I'd love to own, preferable several of each type....

KTC, it was actually the aliens that prompted me to get them.

I remember seeing most of those photos before, except the last two.
Are those 1/6 versions of R2D2 and 3CPO?

But I'm mostly interested in the last photo, of the lady in the space suit.
I don't remember you posting her before, I'm very curious about her.
