1/6th Messerschmitt BF 109E-3 build

Just picked this Messerschmitt BF 109E-3 so had it out with the mechanic today there's a fair bit of work needed- no propeller or engine and no wheels but should look good when I get it done

For now I'm just going to make it a static display but I'm looking to having some flying pics using the strong fishing line and sky hooks

Cheers Jay yes the engineer has a lot to do I'm really well pleased mate I couldn't sleep the night when I was going to pick it up I had alsorts of dios going through my head

wow what an amazing bit of kit , lots of play time to be had there . i had a foolish thought about having a small motor to turn the prop ( when you get 1 ) but it would probably blow the ground crew over so not a good idea .

That is a great looking aircraft! (That first pic is a P-47 pilot's wet dream!) There was a 1/6ist F4U Corsair in RN colors at a local hobby shop a few years back. It was in pieces, but i should have made an offer before the store closed.

Cheers Jim yes my son James said he can set me up with an electric motor for the prop (When I get one ) but totally agree my nerves couldn't stand any extra cause for the guys falling over
