Thanks Jim the re furbished barbers shop looks great the Spitfire made my day just seeing it on desplay there on prime position

Latest work has been spraypainting the nose cone and re- lining the blades Fritz again is working around the clock to get the craft airbourne

12 Hours later after day squad has fitted the prop Fritz gives it the once over with a cleaning cloth

Needs a plate over the right side of engine (where a remote control motor would go) also needs a radio antenata behind the cockpit, but is close to going outdoors again weather permitting

Cheers Jim, but even Fritz had to give into fatigue also the weight of the front end needing many hands to lift into position, Fritz left it to the lackies to do the horse work

Thank you Walter Fritz and I have had a busy evening just posting some more pics

Well the hole in the front engine compartment has been a poser but Fritz and a tin of Maccano have almost got the hole blocked but my patch skin made from putty spent too long in the oven and got a bit over cooked

Amazing progress! The Spitfire in the barber shop is great as well (though I'd be afraid that should that fishing line give way I might get bopped on the head!)

Cheers Nate thanks for looking hey no worries with the Spitfire it's been hung up properly on stainless steel wire and high quality fixings mate

After scratching our heads Fritz and I have chose to scrap the metal Meccano as it was too bulky and heavy, and chose the lighter modeling clay, after experimenting with the panel we'd made we found by submerging in very hot water this can be re shaped at the moment it looks like the front end has been shot up and the engine has been on fire but I'm sure that look could be useful in some future diorama
