Floor is looking closer to the colour I'm after....

At last !! Finally got the floor looking how I want. My aim was a wooden floor that had been walked on for many years and so was quite worn in places.


Now to get on with the rest of the build

Intended effect achieved... brilliantly! I thought at first that this was a photo of a full-scale floor, perhaps the floor of your work room or studio!

What are the full dimensions? Looks like about 3ft x 2ft... or 100cm x 60cm. (Which measurement system do you guys in the UK use for projects like this?)

You're not far off.....it's about 3foot 8 inches by 2 feet. Personally I swap  between imperial  and metric to suit whatever I'm doing.

Nah.....I betting that woman is already saying the wall colour isn't what she wanted, ...and she really ordered white tiles for the floor, so get to work pulling it all up and re-doing it right away.
She's off to a hair appointment and then she's having her nails done so they better have it all finished by the time she gets back!

Ive been laying out paper templates for the office to see how much room i will have. As it turns out...nowhere near as much as i thought i would.    


Might have to have a re think .......

looking good so far Chris, its all about playing about with the space, keep experimenting and you will find your final layout
