Brilliant miniature arcade game. I’m liking your image Barry. The scene that you have recreated what movie is it from?

It's from a movie called "The Last Starfighter". Aliens have set up the arcade game to find a human who can score high enough on it to perhaps become a "starfighter" for them and help defend their planet. If you haven't seen it Alex, I think you would enjoy it.
Thanks Chip! I'm still discovering things that little arcade game can do!

Though intended for a 5" action figure, the head is just about the right proportions for a 1/6 scale figure, though a bitch to get off the toy. I had to use a razor saw.

The "cave" image is quite spooky with the blue light suggesting considerable depth underground! I wonder where they are, who the new recruit is, and where and how they discovered the rather grisly artifact.

Truth be told, I haven't yet figured out the name or position for the new member of the crew. I'm open to suggestions.

Use a different head sculpt every time the figure appears. Nameless generic replaceable rotating second banana referred to merely as "crewman" or "cadet."

Thanks KTC. I just thought it was a nice villain's head sculpt.
I used to keep up with Nick's site, I don't recall seeing this one in any of his stories there. Maybe he had other stories on flickr?
Can you tell me which 1/6 figures it might fit on?
One thing my brother and I lamented growing up was there were never enough villains, our heroes outnumbered the villains made by 8 to 1. So I have made it a point to collect villains as an adult collector.

I find the villains SO much more fun to work with. There's just no limits to what they will do!

The head and neck are solid, not hollow and were never meant to come off the figure they came with, which is a child's toy. I had to use a razor saw thorough lower section of the neck to get it off. After that, the neck needs to be modified to take neck adapter. I have not gotten to this stage, but will take some photos detailing my conversion when I do.

Barry: Heroes and heroines, especially the anti-hero types can be just as much fun to work with, so long as you don't make them clean-cut Clark Kent types.

Absolutely perfect focus there Gary! Are those transparent helmets a problem with unwanted reflections?

Yes, the helmets can be a problem with reflection, however since I tend to put might lights up quite high and position then so that the reflections don't obscure the face, It's a manageable problem.

TOW AWAY ZONE !!!
*The little disintegrating pistol you see attached to Marvin's peplum is original and STILL WORKS! When you press the trigger a red light is emitted and it makes a space gun sound. Can't believe it was still attached to the figure and functions after all this time. The background is REALLY Mars BTW. Far too wet here right now to use my outdoor "Martian" site.
