| Thanks to Ackie 88 generosity and expert e-baying , The Munrovian Mortar Raid section got a new member . I managed to find a webbing set so decided to set him up as an attached Engineer. I also came upon a MAM jacket ( one of the best imo ) - so fixed up the Mortar raid commander with it.
Here they are discussing winter deployment. Any chance of one of those jackets Sir ? Nope ! | |

| Hi guys remember this fella- part of Charity (Barnado's) pick-up. He had some cosmetic work done on him - I reckon by a girl- could he be "brought back ?" So a dolop of Zit cream and a couple pof days in the weak watery winter UK sunshine... and Just needs quick hair touch up to correct a couple of paint rubs and I reckon he is ready to join the ranks . IMO one of the better MAM head sculpts | |

| You’ve done some magic cosmetic work on his face Gunner and once you’ve given his hair a quick touch up to correct a couple of paint rubs then as you type he’ll be ready to join the ranks . You think his head sculpt is one of the better MAM head sculpts for me I think he looks to young in my opinion but every one has their favourite head sculpts at the end of the day . If you want to know what figure set he’s originally from well he’s originally from a set called action man mission altitude _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

| Subject: Battle Force Squad Reorting for duty- Can you help kit them out? Sun Mar 24, 2019 10:58 am | |
| Hi folks As you know I started my foray into this hobby back in 2016. I was only going to fix up my childhood guys and I was definitely a VAM man. I started looking again at MAM as a homage to the figures my two boys had back in the mid 90's. As is usual a few started to turn up in the Job lots I was hoovering up for e-bay in my 'starter' enthusiasm. Also well meaning friends started the - "I found these in a junk shop and thought of you"- soon I had may of our chunky friends . The thing that I like is the VAM military and, along with SKJ, the uniformity of building squads with similar Uniforms- something I never seemed to do back in the day. The key thing I never got with MAM ,was all the skating/ barbie legs/lack of articulation/windsufring etc -but then I wasn't a 8 year old kid in the 90's . There have been a few what imo ~I would call decent military lines and Battle Force is one. So with my new streamlined kit I've been able to fix up a squad to join the Munrovian ranks. I'm using fully articulated figures - A figure called Cammo Attack ? I think for the Squadies, and one of the better figures re head size for taking VAM caps and Berets, the NCO and Officer . I've used a MAM version of the high top boot that looks quite military and given them all Cotswold OG belts. I'd like to give the Squadies the original webbing that came with these sets. Could you do one of either: 1. Look out for them on your e-bay sweeps and drop me a line or 2. have a look in your spares boxes to see if you have any surplus to requirements ? Thanks for looking guys Gunner | |

| I really enjoyed looking through your Battle force group you’ve put together though various bits of MAM and Non MAM kit you have collected to kit them out. It’s nice to see the Battle force group out on their Inaugural patrol.
Thanks for sharing your latest kitbashed group. _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

| Looking at these guys I can almost bring myself to believe that when they start tree hugging it's to take cover from enemy fire and not to stage a protest about saving the rain forest! [/quote] Thanks Steve -They still have to be tested under actual battle conditions- hopefully these guys have had the the proper training | |
