| Hi folks Thanks to Ackie's excellent sleuthing and a tip off, I got a supply drop of MAM boots today . So its just inspired me to get my remaining MAM ( bar 2 ) kitted up. Some spares here if any one spots something they want Each units designation will emerge as I sift through my existing kit/spares and start to detail them . Have got three of these Space Jump suits - a bit left field for the Munrovians , but I'm sure I can figure out a good role for them. The Helmets/cap are Red Devil & British Infantry, I stared to paint up for a homage the 1984 range that got pulled. These two will join Lt Ocean's Mortar team. The Mortar is Lanard. This guy is a bit solo at the moment - possibly a Turbo Copter attack pilot ? The next team all use a set of Cammo Lanard Ultra Corp uni's I found on e-bay- so essentially they look a bit like VAM Ground attack ? Start of the HMG Sections? Command unit A couple of troopers another Solo - some kind of Urban squaddie? still a lot to do but at least I feel like I have Munrovian MAM "under control." Need to dedicate some time now to the nasty Dragonians so we can have that mega set up in the summer | |

| hi Guys Had a supply drop yesterday - all my late night e-bay purchases arrived at once !! .. and this great parcel from Ackie88 A new Dragonian Hunter Scout The Munrovian MAM's and the Dragonians are benefitting from Ackies generosity fix 'em up weapons- a good supply and my first Lebel next some Basic Soldier Jumpers for my expanding Basic Soldier Squad - IMHO the 'best ' VAM Uni I think I have some last issue and also some of the interim ones- the quality is good so I'm assuming they are 40th ? Any way the basic squad kit is starting to build. I have quite a few OG combats which In think will need a re-dye to bring up to scratch. I'll be sourcing the belts from Cotswolds. Got this chap He looks like a VAM in 40th kit ?- he needs a good wash and I also have a 40th Box to display too- not bad for £26? Bashed these two guys You will notice Gunner 2.0 has decided to join the Basic Soldier ranks I just need to find a beret that will fit ! This International cap will have to suffice for now More to come - next some Scarf production - got some Draylon OG dye to play with | |

| Subject: Testing some garden effects out... Sun May 20, 2018 7:00 pm | |
| Hi Guys, Mrs G has let me have a patch of the garden for VAM - so cleared away the shrubs etc and transplanted elsewhere around the Munrovian "estate". So the area is from the shed down to the tree. Can't move this Honeysuckle but will help blend out the fence.. Will move this bush eventually... I may even be able to take over this area too ! but baby steps first... So started to lay out some 1/6th scale stuff to judge how best to use it... Yes I know ... will I ever build the strong point ... but I'm taking inspiration from Dean Aka Sam Goldwyn Rusty Gun and now I have sorted out the garage - I even have a summer workstation to "crack on " from . I've even got the wood - just need to find that cup of motivation... So my ultimate aim is to install what my US buddies would call a Pondless waterfall . Well actually I want to create a stream that emerges from behind the tree- Action Man and water !- and runs to roughly where the Strong point house is ... but as I said baby steps- I am after all DIY "Challenged" . So decided to try and replicate some effects I've seen on others posts ... So here is "Near miss for the patrol " Special Ops Alan Rigby & Pvt Andy Potter of the 1st Bn emerge from the undergrowth. "Nearly back at base Alan" Alan hears something ... " Andy! Incoming !" Kabooom ! "Come on lets not dawdle .. that could be just a ranging shot !- Yalla Imshi " Our intrepid pair rush past the shell hole toward the Strongpoint and hopefully safety of the bunker ... Alan:" I hope we make it .. to be continued ... | |

| Okay, this is seriously cool! "Real" smoke effects, rather than digital! Love it!
And the cardboard ruined house is a fabulous start! Layer on several different shades of spray paint and it could look quite realistic!
Great action poses with the figures, and their uniforms are impressively detailed!
Looks like a fun summer ahead! _________________ ... DAVE

| Subject: Gunner stock takes .. er I mean take a roll call .. Wed Jul 25, 2018 12:50 pm | |
| Hi folks I think it was Ackie88 who mentioned in a recent post, "how many figures have you got now?" Well I've been thinking about my display of the guys in the home office. It needs some work , so grabbing the bull by the horns and start sorting out the display and count 'em up at the same time. Here its as it as was Here it is as now- Phase 1 Sorted out a load of reference books I don't need for other key AM materials . Here is the storage area This sofa will have to go and some floor to ceiling shelving is required - phase 2 ! So what about the stock take? I started with about 20 taken down from the the loft in Xmas 2015- the result if a car boot sale in the mid 80's plus my trusty CH11 . So excluding the CH11 I have Vintage[u] Paint head-3 Fuzz heads-64 EE Hybrids-6 EEBP's- 25 Zargon- 1
Gyper man -3 GI Joe- 1 vintage 5 Modern 30th's - 2 50th- 7
MAM active service -47 Spares-13
Total 177
Other Redbox- 1 Tommy Gunn- 2 (1 Zodiac) Max steel as Dragonians-37 Lanards- 13 21st Century -4 Dragon-9 Chad Valley- 28 ( bought for their uniforms !) Marx-18 Special Forces-3 Knock off-5- mainly strike force in AM bundles from e-bay Max steel - spares 5
Total 125
So that adds up to far too much according to my PayPal account | |

| Thanks for sharing with us the display of the guys in the home office. It’s really wonderful to see a variety of different figures. The storage area looks nice and tidy. Wow from starting off with with about 20 taken down from the the loft in Xmas 2015 to now owning in total 125. I’m guessing that total will grow over the rest of this year tehe. Thanks again for sharing Gunner . _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

| Your room is coming along great Steve, the extra shelves (or bookcases0 will really ease the pressure of housing your figures. Also the ceiling malles a great place for keep your airborne stuff, i,e, helicopters, turbo copters and such, (if Mrs GR will let you!) . Looking forward to seeing the room and collection grow | |

| 125 is an impressive number for 2 1/2 years collecting! Take no notice of your Paypal account, they sound just like wives!! As a rule of thumb..if you're still willing to admit the actual figure on an open forum than it's not nearly enough! _________________ Life moves pretty fast.
