| Fantastic set-up, Steve!!! How lucky are you to have your own 'sandbox' to play in. It looks great and has plenty of room to set up a good many figures and vehicles. Well worth all the 'extra' work you had to do to get to this point. I just hope the rent doesn't get too high. Top work, top yard!!! | |

| I don’t see it as a Rockery in the slightest. I very much see it as a VAM/MAM zone . _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

| The strongpoint looks awesome! Does it disassemble or fold up for storage? Or will it become a permanent outside fixture? _________________ ... DAVE

| You've chosen plants with "in-scale" foliage too! Well done! |

Well done! Yeah, hopefully just enough to prove a bit of contrast. I hoping that the Acers will grow to mask the fence over time but aim to try and keep them "in scale" say no more than 3 ft. With the shed I'm thinking I could buy some surplus cammo net and drape that over when I'm taking photos? It would be good to see other folks "favourite photo spots" in context.- Dal -don't mow the lawn | |

| Hi folks have started some more work. last year I spotted these A4 sheets of embossed 1/6th scale brick sheets.- so now is the time to see best use of them. I decided to focus on a wall section to figure out a good process. My issue is long term storage so I have gone for a slot together approach in the overall construction. a wooden batten and a piece of wood moulding. I then wanted to replicate the reader effect on the original Airfix kit. on some images it looks like a rough cobble effect on the outer skim and traditional brick on the inner face. I could use Polyfilla/fine filler mix ( spackle ? in the US ? ) but this would add to the weight and also might crack in storage conditions. So I have gone for using some thin cardboard ( thank you large Amazon Lockdown purchases ) with smaller cut out section of the embossed brick glued on underneath where I wanted exposed brick to show. Here is where I got to after a couple of hours and some false starts. I will eventually seal the card, once painted, with a thinned coat of PVA glue. So I guess its now a case of "little and often"...watch out for final completion ...2025 ? | |

| I’m really liking the A4 sheets of embossed 1/6th scale brick sheets. I’m also really liking that your using old fashioned cardboard to make the buildings out off. Looking forward to seeing the buildings all bricked and ready to being used in your future stories Gunner. _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

| This is quite clever! I like the edges of the "damaged" areas where you peeled back the top layer of cardboard to show a bit of the corrugations. Effective suggestion of layers of construction in the walls. Looks really cool! _________________ ... DAVE

| Subject: Thump! What was that... or Dreadnought takes a tumble... Mon Jun 29, 2020 8:13 pm | |
| Hi team, Just catching up now the weather has turned & work is quietening down a bit... One of the downsides of my display method is what I call "Swan dives " So I came into the "Office /Munrovian HQ" the other day and found this ! My Missile Assault guy had taken a dive ..its also the problem with Zoom calls and people saying "whats that on the shelves etc ." I'd taken him down as my prize uni of most value to show a colleague. Popped him back up but can't have gotten the balance quite right Are you OK mate ? Yeah , no worries Gunner . You might want to get some Ptfe tape out and tighten my joints though- classic case of loose hips and this bloody missile launcher not balanced right ! At least I landed near the Victor Annual collection- kept me going while I was waiting for you Its a recurring problem though... Dreadnought and Silver Knight had been out on the tiles one night and .... Cough ( coming to.) What the @!&*! Dreadnought - Gadzooks ! that was might fine ale.. Here is your weapon.. Thanks Shipmate.... By Golly .. your leg... Shiver me timbers !!! Ouchy !! as Gunners Grandkids would say.. a classic lower leg peg snap ! - Forsooth - Worry not Dreadnought, with Gunners vast spares kit I'm sure you will be up and running again ! Having been with Gunner since the 1970's Dreadnought looks mournfully on .... At his rate of work at the moment .. I may be peg legging it for some time !! When will Dreadnought be fixed and back in action again.. tune in to 2022's next update | |

| A dramatic tale of adventure... right there in the comfort of your own home office! Proof positive that where Action Man is concerned, danger lurks around ever corner!
Glad you were able to turn the event in to an entertaining story, and that Dreadnoght will be well taken care of... eventually.
I especially like the "coming to" pic and the pic where he's crawling toward his cap. _________________ ... DAVE
