I can't understand why Hasbro allowed for the less articulated MAM to be continued for so long, shame that, I class them as a poor mans' budget MAM, I have a few of them in my MAM nation.

I'm all for having fun with action figures in any way, it's a form of escape from the fast lane. I personally like to preserve the original MAM factory look for the future, and possibly hand them over to the 90's generation who had them back then, so they can relive the past again. I think I may have done a head swap in the past but can't remember exactly which one/s, I think it was probably between 2 MAMs, I do have about 4 MAM heads in storage somewhere, but I have no idea what happened to their bodies????

It's fantastic that Black and Dreadnaught have finally got gripper upgrades! It's such an emotional moment for the guys. The story even bought a tear to the eye for Joe and Hank.



Well it was more of an attack of the sniffles actually!

As you can see from Joe's original body, he got a gripper upgrade years ago. In fact it was probably 1973/74. Well you couldn't have some Johnny come lately new gripper VAM being better than your top guy could you? I kept Joe's left hard hand so he could still punch hard!

I didn't have a strong drink when I read this, I had milk instead . I think it's just fabulous that your wanting to have a as may MAM & VAM in active service, working together . I'm pleased that your convinced that Mam can play a part in the Munrovian ranks .

It's always a great idea to be doing a bit of a stock take and that you taken the plunge to finally sort out the random figures.

I DO LOVE my MAM and I didn't look away when I seen pictures of your transplanted Mam,Max Steel and Lannard bodies .

I really really loved the the back left Dr X's heads onto Lannard bodies to make Dragonians command figures. The Dragonians Commanders look evil and loo just fabulous to me.

Yes the Muscle Beach boys look like they should be lying on the beach tanning themselves .

I'll be very much looking forward to seeing how you end up kitting out all these transplanted Mam with using all your existing spares, good luck and have lots and lots of fun kitbashing .

I've been using some Dragon/21C kit to give them hopefully that classic VAM look. I'd forgotten what a classic VAM look they have.
I'm trying to channel a bit of Lowtown's - just enough kit look as an inspiration

Black and Dreadnought are most chuffed they are even on Joe and Hanks radar ...however they have now stared to ask for 1/6th beer now they can grip a bottle...Is this a dangerous sign ???

Outdoor photos are always something special, vam was made to be played with outdoors, here we are 50 years on and the toy is still bringing joy. Nice photos Gunner
