Hi folks a promised here are some shots of the boys kitted out
L/Cpl Alf Tuppers Squad
L/Cpl Dave Henderson's squad
Some shots of Alf.
He has a VAM fatigue jacket, Woodland Cammo Chad Valley pants and boots. He wears a VAM belt to show his Rank along with a black Beret. He has a Dragon M16 (?) pouch .The soldiers use the Chad Valley belts. As a L/Cpl he has pistol from Special Forces/Chad Valley Figs( need to add a holster or two )
Here is the squad with Captain Morgan and Colour Hart.

Love what you do with your guys, kitted out and repaired and put in different regiments.

Jet, I'm rather embarrassed to say how much year 1 drew me in ... as soon as I got a PayPal account it was curtains
I've just over 200 VAM ( I think I started with about 30- 9 originals and a Nic stash from a car boot in '86,) a nice little collection of 30 or usable MAM and a growing number of Max Steels to create the evil Draconian invading force . Max has a great body sculpt/articulation just a bobbins headsculpt.
As you will have seen from my collection note- `I'm playing vs collecting - Just want to build decent squad size- something I never could do as a kid ( I blame the catalogue shots !!) and like Steve AKA SomeKindaJoe- I'm enjoying building a Uniformity look & feel to the squads
I'm on a bit of Figure buying lul at the moment as I catch up with my self.- Need to spend some time on the baddies !

I'm so glad that some folks celebrate MAM now, they look really good in their outfits along with vam. Those flight jackets were always on my hunt lists.
If you ever find bits of paint on MAM it can be rubbed off with a damp dishcloth and your fingernails, give it a good hard rub and the paint will lift, if not use very fine and blunted wet and dry rubbing paper with water.

Hi Ackkie and Clivvers
You may need to have a strong drink as you read this -- but I hope you don't mind too much - Its just me wanting to have a as may MAM & VAM in active service !! as you know I've been a bit ambivilent to MAM. However I'm convinced they can play a part in the Munrovian ranks .
I've been doing a bit of a stock take and took the plunge to finally sort out the 'Barbie' MAM's I have and the stock of Max Steels I've built up last year ( Its the result of fuzzy collecting goals )
Anyway if you love your MAM you may want to look away now !!
So it started with the thought that those MAM heads could be put to better use ?
Also SomeKindaJoe challenged me to start sorting out the Dragonians - so that process is well underway -A mass attack in the garden some time in high summer is the target
So here is the aftermath
Just a couple of MAM heads & a couple of Knock off looking for a suitable hosts ( some CHAD Valley chaps are in the garage locked in a vice waiting some 'alterations '- cue maniac Frankenstein type cackle)
The resulting outcome - a bit like a scene from the French revolution !
The final act will be to cut off the hands to act as emergency hands for any future alterations.
The transplants onto various hosts . Mainly Max Steels-I used SparkleBudgies post on this as my starting point.
Dragonians - the Dr X's will make key command figures
The guys at the back left are on some Lannard bodies due to the size of the head - MAM seemed to have a phase where DR X was 'outsize " as were some of the MAM too.
A bit Muscle Beach, but these guys look OK re neck's I feel.
'Big head' MAM's on Max Steels and some 21C bodies- a little bit 'no neck' but I'm glad to have them back on active service as part of the wider Action Man family.
So now the kitting out challenge begins ! I've given myself the goal of using as much of my existing spares before dipping into e-bay
I'll keep you posted ps Any one want some Max Steele heads :
